Garment Factory Worker Perceptions

The purpose of the Sexual, Reproductive and Maternal Health Garment Factory Workers Perception Research is to produce a better understanding of garment factory workers perceived rights, perceptions, and barriers to achieving improvements in sexual, reproductive and maternal health with a particular focus on family planning, female and male relationship expectations, and gender norms. The specific objectives are:

  • To understand why people are using or not using the services and commodities that are available for family planning and other relevant RMNH services, and to better understand how we can translate worker knowledge into worker practice.
  • Collect key findings that will immediately and practically inform the BCC strategies and toolkit development for garment factories.
